Fibrous Dysplasia

“I was born with a rare bone disease called Fibrous Dysplasia. My disease is incredibly painful and it’s progressive. My husband passed away 4 months ago and I only receive $1,500 as a survivors benefits. I’m 66 and Medicare doesn’t cover most of my meds. I don’t think I can get my medicine this month. Oxycodone costs $205.00 a month. MSContin cost $350 a month. I can’t afford to pay anymore. I’m in severe pain and in bed most of the time and these medications are the only thing that help. I don’t know what I am going to do.”
