“I use the EpiPen which made the news about a year ago when it’s selling price went up to $600 a unit. I researched the cost of a shot of epinephrine and it came out to about $0.30 a shot (.3 ml) when buying the epinephrine in 50 ml quantity and buying syringes in packs of 25. My intent is to show the extreme difference between what they charge and what it costs.”
