Deandra brings more than 15 years of finance, operations, and grants management experience to Patients For Affordable Drugs, with a career built managing multi-million dollar budgets across private, government, and nonprofit sectors. Her commitment to this work is personal. Growing up, she watched her mother navigate the impossible choice between keeping the family afloat and getting the care she needed, even with her father working. That experience shaped Deandra’s belief that affordable prescriptions are not just a policy issue but a foundation for stronger families and a stronger society. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Curry College and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Nonprofit Management from Wheelock College, now Boston University.
